DEFENdoors are all steel, containing no plastic or nylon parts and manufactured from high grade steel. DEFENdoors are recommended by most top security companies. To eliminate the possibility of using a crowbar to force bars open, the door is manufactured with a single bar system. Equipped with two separate hook locks, it is twice as difficult to break through the bars.

The flights are locked onto the bars and slide onto the sealed steel bearings. It is sealed so that the grease never escapes and the DEFENdoor therefore will never need maintenance.

With solid steel bolts locking into the bottom track, but freely movable, hack-sawing virtually impossible. A long lasting durable powder-coated finish makes repainting virtually a thing of the past.

DEFENdoor is the first Code A rated door in South Africa. All essential rivets are stainless steel and the channel that protects the lock faces the wall, making attack with a crowbar extremely difficult.
